Navyport

Having previously made a couple of  small 00-9 layouts (DM4MS, The Hollow), I thought it's time to make a proper, cameo-style, exhibition layout.

So 'Navyport' is the answer.  Heavily inspired by parts of HMS Drake, and HMNB Devonport Dockyard in general, with a little of Defence Munitions Plymouth at Ernesettle.

It's an inglenook, with a shunting loop, and a transfer facility to load the standard gauge wagons on to the narrow gauge transporters.

Most of the buildings are adapted SMS kits, which will, in time, be replaced by my own scratch-built ones.
