The Hollow

This circular layout  was originally designed as a circle of track to allow OO9 locos to be run in, but it evolved into a fully-sceniced layout.

The track is Peco 9mm gauge set track, to provide a consistent radius. I lifted it from the baseboard to be on a raised trackbed, to allow a variation in the surrounding ground levels.  I wanted to add lots of steps, passageways and interesting corners.

Most of the buildings are scratch-built, or adapted SMS kits, including those of my own design.
