Models for 'Black Country Blues'
I was invited to produce a few buildings and billboards for the iconic BCB layout.
The buildings were based on existing prototypes the main team had identified as being typical of the area they were representing.
The first was a small engineering firm, in a modern-ish square block-built structure, with a cobbled yard alongside.
Next to this was a derelict shell of a much older building, with lots of patched brickwork and metal strengthening plates. As a bit of fun, I added a small outside toilet to the end of this.
The billboards were to help disguise the road exit , and were provided with several different posters to be exchanged as required.
