Bow Station, Crediton, Devon
This is a substantial model of the large building that graces the station at Bow, in Devon.
Working from several old photos, plus more modern Google Earth views, the complex building was drafted, then cut on both laser and card cutting machines to produce the various components needed. The 11 roof sections were hand fettled, then covered in roofing tiles and the ridge and flashing added. A set of various chimney pots, drainpipes and a cold water tank completed the detailing.
I've used various commercial parts for this build, so thanks are due to:
Scale Model Scenery for cutting the shell and providing the stone cladding and roof tiles
Mudmagnet Models for the cold water tank and a couple of chimney pots
Modelu for the drain pipe fittings and the remaining chimney pots
