1970's Royal Mail Sorting Office

This 4mm scale Sorting Office was built for a customer as part of a larger 1970's Bus Station diorama. The brief was for a low relief building, to fit an exact space, and to have both personnel and vehicle doors, with a small yard area.

After several emails, a design was agreed. The actual building was made from a laser-cut, mdf core, which was wrapped in pre-printed red-brick paper. The bespoke windows were fitted to two sides and to a third floor in a roof extension. Various proprietary kits were used for detailing, such as the roof vents and air-con units.  A flower bed was added to the front of the building and choice of fence was supplied for the yard area.

"Stuart was most helpful throughout and did an amazing job with my model which exceeded my expectations. It also fitted exactly to the measurements that I supplied to him. I love the finished model and it is well suited for my diorama. I will be definitely a returning customer. "
